449672 - Replace the image on the homepage with Buggy

Now that we have the rights to use Buggy we should put him on the homepage. We could also alter the "classic" version to include buggy in the toolbar as well. I'm going to use this bug to post possible images of buggy on the homepage.

Buggy Full (attachment 332824 [details] and attachment 332825 [details]) are my favourites. The grey one suits pretty well with the Dusk skin. The colored one may suits better with a more colored skin.

I think for Classic, we should go with "Zoomed-in Buggy" or "Color Buggy Full."

Also, this bug is a dup, you know.

I prefer also the Color Buggy Full, or http://www.bugzilla.org/img/buggie.png: the Buggy Full looks a bit 'surly' with his arms crossed, but ok, I guess one can get used to it.

Ps: Zoomed-in Buggy, Blob Buggy and their emo-clones are missing the end of one antenna.

BTW, I agree with the "surly" with the arms crossed, so it might be ideal to take that part of his body out.

This tarball has 4 files instead of 2. Please remove both named ._front.png. Personally, I think buggy looks weird with no arms.

Patch v1

There is something wrong with this patch:
1) The only part of buggy I see is its eyes. Its body is not visible at all.
2) With Dusk, I still get the colored buggy.

I'm using Fx 3.0.1.

OK, take that back, I forgot to apply the patch. :-D I only applied the first part with images in it. Sorry for that.

But I still confirm my r-. I think the image is too big and I now have too much vertical space between text in the body and the footer. Could you try with an image which is 60-70% of the current size?

Maybe this enhancement has a "layout-collision" with bug 475063 .

Yes, indeed I believe you are correct. Since there is no longer a homepage ant image, there is no need to replace it with anything.
