per Bug 448534 comment 15 Bug 448534 fixed Audio won't stop playing for after closing a window with a <video>. But problem remains when closing TAB a running <video> ie, always for few seconds the audio wont stop. and sometimes never stops.. Steps:- 1. (optional) Have a PC with slow processor 2. go to attachment 002 [details] [diff] [review]_ctrl.htm 3. play one of the video 4. click new tab button or ctrl+T 5. close the TAB which is running video 6. Wait few seconds Result:- * Audio continues to play for few seconds, say 10 to 15 seconds * See windows Task Manager, firefox run at high CPU usage - my favorite PC it is 100%, (YouTube video also at that rate) - my new PC it is 20%, which is same as normal <video> tag play back (which is way more than YouTube video, bug 449175) Expected:- * Audio stops immediately * Task Manager show firefox running 0% CPU usage Advanced test:- (after step 5. close the TAB which is running video) * try keep moving mouse NON STOP over the new tab * or switch to another application and work on it. Advanced test result:- Firefox never stops Audio Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1a2pre) Gecko/20080808031528 Minefield/3.1a2pre

Probably a dupe of bug 449096? (It's close-tab vs reload-tab, but I'd assume it's the same problem.)
