User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.16 (20080708) it would be nice to be able to customize message templates using text fields like you would in microsoft office>word. what I mean is using a database or extra info attached to the template with fields you can define and then replace the existing (pre-defined) text with. this would go as follows: 1) compose new message. include several 'text fields' which you link to information from the database 2) save to templates (template also saves the database) 3) double click on message in 'templates' folder 4) click somewhere to edit the text fields (i.e. recipient name, company name, etc) 5) the text fields are auto-filled in using the information from the database 6) click send 7) viola! image of me using office to demonstrate is here http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/6035/functionalityhe7.jpg Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: n/a Actual Results: n/a Expected Results: n/a to find out exactly what I mean, please use microsoft office word and create a new document. or view the image I have linked above.
