Pashto is not available in the preferred languages in preferences/options.
Due to its not being there (it of course means that support is not available), Pashto text is not rendered well in Firefox. In IE, Opera, etc., Pashto text is well rendered and Pashto is there in the preferred languages.
I hope Pashto is soon added to the "languages" in preferences/options.
Note: It is not the problem caused by "Add support for complex script..." option in Windows XP. That's enabled and the problem is only in Firefox.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any Pashto website (ps.wikipedia.org, tolafghan.com, pakhtosoft.com, etc.)
2. The text will be broken
3. Then be sad .. :(
Actual Results:
No special steps needed. Always reproducible and I am too sad for it.
Expected Results:
The Pashto text should not be broken. It should be joined correctly.
Pashto should be added to the preferred languages
I found a bug similar to it, but that's different.
The expected result of both the bugs is same.

Pashto is being added to preferred languages in bug 437276.
However, whether it is or is not in the preferred languages shouldn't cause incorrect rendering of Pashto text. Maybe your selected font for Arabic script in preferences doesn't support all Pashto characters?

That is nice knowing :)
Hmmm, if it is not really causing the problem so maybe you are right. The problem maybe in fonts, but why is it working well on Chrome, IE, Opera? and the problem is with many users!
I will see it again and will comment here!

Pashto is in 3.6.8's Preferred Languages dialog, but someone else will have to verify whether Pashto text is joined correctly now.
