We would like it as easy as possible for users to install browser plugins.

Aplix have developed a freely licensed "foo" plugin that could act as test case to ensure this plugin finder service is running smoothly across different platforms.

http://git.webvm.net/?p=npsimple

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Goto http://foo.webvm.net/simple.html
2. Try to install foo plugin (http://git.webvm.net/?p=npsimple)

Actual Results:
Unable to find foo plugin

Expected Results:
Smoothly install foo plugin

It's not clear how to get the plugin listed on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:7

Is http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/ active?
Can you describe what this bug report is asking for. Are you trying to get your plugin listed in the plugin finder service?
Yes I'm trying to get "foo plugin" listed on the plugin finder service.

I meet the same problem here, if we are developing an plugin, we always can't get it installed automatically.
We are not adding any plugins at the moment. If you'd like to list a plugin after Fx 3.1, please file another bug with this information and it will be considered:
