453972 - Sub folders are being created with date identifier in Both IMAP and POP3

For about the last month, sub folders are being created in most of IMAP and POP3 email accounts that I have set up.
An example of the folders names that are created in date identifier are
20080905-0801   and   20080829-1427

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Unknown

Actual Results:  
Unknown, they just appear at unknown times.


The sub folders themselves sometimes have sub folders themselves.
Example
Folder 20080829-1055 has a sub folder 20080829-1529

Sounds like an extension issue. Do you see it in thunderbird -safe-mode?
