Follow up from discussions related to bug 455069. We currently have preferences on IMAP servers to support AOL servers which we believe are now obsolete. These are defined mentioned up in aol.rdf: http://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/file/53edb60f5629/mailnews/base/ispdata/aol.rdf#l32 David (Bienvenu) believes these are most likely obsolete and we shouldn't need to support them now. Therefore we should just drop them and the associated code. We need to (if possible) have someone confirm that this the aol servers do now support these functions.
Joshua: overlap with bug 435775?
(In reply to comment #1) > Joshua: overlap with bug 435775? Yes, although I haven't fully audited that stuff yet.

Looks like bug 472101 covered this. More work can be done in other bugs as needed.
