I just saw the same message twice in the thread pane. I double-clicked on the first, and I think it had no or shrunk message header pane (no dat, subject etc., only one line height). I opened the other entry and it shows the message properly. Back to the first, it also showed the message properly. I thought that somehow I got the msg twice in my mailbox, and deleted one of them (I think the second one). Suddently, the first one had broken date, sender etc.. Opening it, it was broken (IIRC emtpy), too. Realizing what happened, I did undo to undo the delete, and that worked. I can open that and it shows properly. I switch to another folder and back, and see only one message entry. That entry opens the message correctly, and has the corrent sender and subject, but a date of 1.1.1970 1:00.
