Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.9.0.2) Gecko/2008091620 Firefox/3.0.2

Yesterday I installed the German Update of Firefox 3.0.2 and today I saw that all saved passwords are unknown. And when I logg in on a page that needs a password I type in the username and password but the program doesn't ask if I want to save passwords.
The preference "Passwörter speichern" is set true .. I don't understand why this happens know.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go on a website
2. Type in password
3. Look and I see that password is although not saved ...
Actual Results:
No passwords are saved!

Expected Results:
The software should have stored the passwords and the sites on which I type in the passwords an username
Same problem on Windows XP
Same problem on XP after 3.0.2 english update.
- All passwords have disappeared
- New passwords are not stored, even if the password saving mode is activated
- Master password is no more requested at FF startup (it was in 3.0.1)

We've tried to disable password saving mode, restart FF, reactivate pwd saving, restart FF, but it don't change anything.

This is a major regression.
Note:
The chosen component is not right.
It should be "Security" instead of "Extension Compatibility".
Don't know if Christian, who was the first to report that, can change this info.
