When adding a new event or task, clicking on the month forward or back arrow closes the datepicker rather than changing the month.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click add new event.
2.Try to change the month.
3.
Actual Results:
Datepicker closed.
Expected Results:
Should have changed months.

You use default theme? It may be a (custom) theme issue.
Yes, I use the default theme. I remember this was a problem a couple of versions ago on Macs, but it had been fixed until the recent update.

Do you use the trunk build of Thunderbird? See also bug 442520.
I may have been at some point, but I don't think so anymore. Currently using version 2.0.0.17 (20080914).
Different than bug 442520, I can enter the date manually.

I can enter dates manually on trunk, too. Only a focus switch is necessary to do that. I think we can safely set this bug duplicate to bug 442520.
