I am running Lightning in Thunderbird 3.0a2pre. When I make an appointment, I can no longer set the date to be a different month. The calendar used to set the date no longer scrolls to a new month. Entering a date manually in the appointment time no longer sticks. It just reverts to the default setting.
This may be related to the issue of the Thunderbird mail not reappearing after the calendar is viewed. So I am forced to use the right pane to make appointments now.

I see the 405529 problem too. But this is also about the months not being changeable.

Please provide *detailed* steps to reproduce the issue. Do speak e.g. about the main calendar view or the datepicker control in the New Event dialog or the minimonth control in the Today Pane? Or do you try to change the month e.g. by clicking buttons, using scroll wheel, keyboard shortcuts?

Now I am totally hosed. I had reverted to Thunderbird 2.0.14 because I could not use the calendar. I went back to 3.0 to test this for you, and when Shredder starts, it fills the screen with error messages about the calendar.
The nightly build seems to be version 0.61, but I had 0.8 installed in 2.0. Where do I get the right lightning plugin for 3.0a2? I need my calendar back. I have everything backed up with time machine and moved my profile back to before trying this, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

I did recover to 2.0.0.15 with Lightning 0.8. But I don't know how to get back to 3.0 + lightning to test this again.
I was making a new event in the side bar though. Almost nothing in the settings box worked properly.

Nightly test builds of Lightning for nightly test builds of Thunderbird 3 are available at <http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/lightning/download.html#nightly>.

The nightly build was version 0.61 for the Mac and did not work with my Calendar which was upgraded to 0.8
