User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20081001 Minefield/3.1b1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20081001 Minefield/3.1b1pre Attempt to move tab crashes Firefox Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click on tab 2.Keep the button pressed 3.Try to move Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: Allow to reorganize tabs by moving them
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20081001 Minefield/3.1b1pre
Version: unspecified → 3.0 Branch
Make sure to try in Safe Mode or with a new profile to reproduce this, and, how many tabs do you have, what one are you moving, etc.?
Then it may be caused by a plugin: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+plugins Neither safe mode nor profiles normally affect what plugins are in use.
Confirming using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b1pre) Gecko/20081001 Minefield/3.1b1pre. I can reproduce it with the default tabs for the start pages. Breakpad does not fire so I can't get a stack.

Seems a duplicate of Bug 458048 which is a duplicate of Bug 454324.

Resolution: DUPLICATE → FIXED
Plugins are irrelevant; if you check the stack you'll see that this isn't crashing inside a plugin, and can be reproduced with plugins disabled. This is a Firefox crash (bug 454324) and certainly isn't fixed yet. Re-duping. Please leave the status alone.
