Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de-DE; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 Iceweasel/2.0.0.16 (Debian-2.0.0.16-0etch1) Build Identifier: Product not handy (different machine), but: Firefox/German 3.0.3 on Windows XP I installed FF3 on a Windows box and didn't find the menu entry to set a folder of the bookmarks collection to serve as bookmarks toolbar folder. So I'm stuck with shifting around the bookmarks to remove junk from the initial setup, and re-arrange my bookmarks into the fixed folder that is used for this purpose. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install FF3 2. Try to choose a different folder as "bookmarks toolbar folder" 3. Find out that there does not appear a way to do so. Actual Results: I'm stuck with the predefined junk folder, and have to shuffle around bookmarks. Expected Results: I'd like to be able to set the marker on a folder that I've taken some time to arrange my bookmarks into, and be up and running within a very short time. Dumbing down the software and the UI is the wrong way to go.
