Need place where SVN gets mapped to location outside of webroot. How do we do this now?
In AMO for example, we have a couple different svn dirs e.g. /site (leads to web accessible stuff) and /bin (outside the webroot).

Options:
- svn reorganization
- addition of an svn external
- put it in a scripts dir and make it non accessible via .htaccess.

CCing morgamic to see if he has a preference or precedent about how we do this.
I think it makes sense to have a /bin or /scripts directory outside of the webroot. However, if you don't want to move everything around, it should be possible to just disallow that dir inside of the root directory and create it in /trunk/bin or /trunk/scripts.

So option 1 would be how I'd do it if there wasn't a crapload of reorginization involved. Option 3 is a less clean but easier alternative.
This will be done once bug 460197 (commit to trunk branch), and bug 463708 (other installs needed). The fact that this bug is in the 0.7.3 milestone does not mean that it has to wait for the 0.7.3 end to be resolved. It should be resolved as soon as the 2 blocking bugs are resolved.
Depends on: 463708
Target Milestone: 0.7.2 → 0.7.3
Laura, is there a reason why you moved everything to /webroot on the trunk branch, but not on production branch? Is it because reorganizing the production branch requires IT to reorganize the server config?
