Gecko doesn't currently support the dropping of multiple *anything* in the content area due to bug 173658. Smokey mentioned in bug 319627 comment 9 that we needed a placeholder bug for stuff to check once that's fixed, so I'm filing this one as that bug. Things to test when investigating this bug: 1) Dragging a bookmark folder to the content area. 2) Dragging a bookmark folder to the content area with the Command key held down. 3) Dragging a bookmark folder to the content area with the Shift key held down. 4) Dragging a bookmark folder to the content area with the Command and Shift keys held down. Those four tests should be repeated with: a) tab groups from within the same Camino window. b) tab groups from another Camino window. c) folders and tab groups from other browsers (at minimum Safari and Firefox). d) webloc files from the Finder. e) IE-style .url files from the Finder. Those are all I can think of at the moment, but if anyone else thinks of others, please add 'em to the list.
