User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.17 It would be nice to be able to edit out the email addresses of the other people who had the mail forwarded to them without having to use "Edit As New" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. This bug reported in Ubuntu's bug tracker: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/289681
Version: unspecified → 2.0
By default, Thunderbird 2.0 forwards a message as attachment, thus you should see an ".eml" attachment in the upper-right-hand corner of the composition window. This can be switched to "inline" in the Edit > Preferences > Composition > General tab, thus allowing you to edit any component of the message you are forwarding (including the addresses of previous recipients). If this resolves your issue, please close as "invalid" since it is not a bug.
No response from reporter, thus resolving. You can check the newsgroups or forums for support if you still have problems. Please feel free to reopen if you find that your problem may indicate an actual bug.
