Details

Now that js/src can be built on its own, the separate build system for the stand-alone SpiderMonkey library and shell should be deleted. But there are a few things to take care of first:

- Makefile.ref builds a shell with command-line editing; the new build system does not. (bug 462004)

- We need to give downstream users of SpiderMonkey some warning about the change and time to adapt.

- We need to make sure that profile-guided optimization, especially with the Intel compiler, works with the new build system as well. (no bug; we think it does.)
