I have 'gtk-key-theme-name = "Emacs"' in ~/.gtkrc and the equivalent setting via gconf. When the cursor is in a line, Ctrl-K does like it should -- it deletes to end of line. But when the cursor is at the beginning of a line, it does like backspace instead of deleting to the end of a line.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set gtk-key-theme to Emacs and (re)start Shredder
2. Begin composing a message, switch to the body.
3. Write some lines. Position the cursor at the beginning of one of the lines and hit Ctrl-K.
Actual Results:
Two lines are joined (as if with backspace at the cursor position).
Expected Results:
The line containing the cursor becomes empty.
Seems like this was fixed in bug 462188.
Can you try the newest nightly?

Kai: We don't mark FIXED, when this isn't bug didn't fix it.
Ludo: Should this be marked WFM or dupe of bug 462188?

@hansen: It was broken when I reported the bug, then you told me it has been fixed, then (three months later) I tried a more recent version and could confirm it has been fixed.
WFM implies that it wasn't broken in the first place. Or that it couldn't be reproduced. Neither of them are applicable here.
