463059 - Autosubscribe approvers to "Waiting for review" category watch

When someone is made an approver, they should be automatically subscribed to the "Waiting for review" category watch. I assume I could do this manually as an admin, but it would great if it were automatic.

Would indeed be great, but not likely a 1.1 fix.

Wouldnt it just be easier to remind new approvers to subscribe? So then it is there choice. Some may not wish to get multiple emails per day but would rather check manualy. Also due to not being able to unsubscribe there is currently no way to opt out of this.

That sounds good to me. This is basically about encouraging approvers to review other peoples edits; and you've been doing a great job of doing that. This method may be unfriendly. We can have an "intro to approvers" template message, when adding someone to the approvers group.
