Details
Netscape Build 2000071810 and a self-built Mozilla of 7/18/00: 1) Open two windows in Mozilla. 2) Position the windows so that the front one is to the left of the rear one, so you can still see the rear window just to the right of the front one. 3) In the front browser, open a web page that has a vertical scroll bar. 4) With your mouse, grab the scrollbar thumb and move it up/down keeping your mouse clicked over the thumb. The thumb responds appropriately. Here comes the problem: 5) Now, instead of moving your mouse (mouse-clicked) up/down over the thumb, move your mouse (whil still pressing down) out of the current window and to the right, directly over the rear window. You will see that the scroll thumb wil jump unexpectedly. It appears that this bug has something to do with a focus issue concerning scroll bars, where mozilla gets focus/curpos confused when the mouse moves between windows. I experience this bug in OS 8.5 and 9.0, in both modern and classic skins. I tested on my Win98 box, but did not see it.

I'm still seeing it, on a self-build I did yesterday. Will check verification builds.
