Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3
Build Identifier: 0.9
When in Thunderbird you convert an email to an event, the dialog box does not let you disable "send attendees invitations via email" which is very inconvenient, when you just want to update your calendar (e.g., google calendar)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. right click on an email body in thunderbird with lightning
2. select "convert to -> event"
3. "send attendees invitations via email" checkbox cannot be disabled
Actual Results:
"send attendees invitations via email" checkbox cannot be disabled
Expected Results:
it should be possible to disable "send attendees invitations via email"

Google keeps care of sending email to attendees (if necessary), Lightning doesn't send email. The (disabled, but checked) box indicates that: You cannot toggle this behaviour from within Lightning.

I see Google behavior, but since I'm creating the event, why shouldn't I be able to disable it?
When I create an event in Lightning I can decide whether to send emails or not; when I create an event from Thunderbird (which uses lightning) why shouldn't I be able to disable it?

Thunderbird doesn't send the mails, but Google's calendar server does. I don't know if Lightning could override the server's behaviour. Philipp?

Google allows disabling event notifications by sending <gd:sendEventNotifications value="false"/>. I'm not sure how to best do this with all the different server-based-sched properties and such.
