When on OS X, use the Keychain for secure password storage. This would probably simplify people switching to Thunderbird from Mail.app, as their passwords are accessed the same way, so they don't actually need to be imported (not sure if or how it's done now).

Related to 279913.

Reproducible: Always
The core support for Password Manager to pick up OS X keychain storage is bug 106400. Thunderbird will pick up the core password manager in bug 239131 which will most likely happen before TB 3.

Therefore I'm just going to mark this bug as a duplicate of bug 106400.
