Due to the beta 1 string freeze we re-used a toolkit string for the What's New tab feature that we implemented in bug 464784. We need to correct that and provide a new string with "What's New" for the tab title.
Letting Emre pick this up for b2.

The fix
Getting the reviewer right this time. This gives the What's New tab its own string.

The fix
Looks good.
But the try/catch is redundant, no?
