should not be a problem if canvas is not scaled.
See attached screenshot.
<gavin> yeah, I guess the actual popup is showing up above the canvas
<gavin> so it won't line up with the input, assuming we're scaled
<gavin> I guess we should just disable it for now

there appears to be more than scaling issues. I see issues when zoomed and panned too.
