Minor event changes shouldn't need re-calculation of calendar view, i.e. changing calendar or color of event (flickering, disappearing)

Sebastian, does this still exist in Lightning 6.2.8?

(In reply to Sebastian Hengst [:aryx] (needinfo on intermittent or backout) from comment #6)
Yes.
Thanks, I'll try to confirm this with 6.2, 68.0b5, 69.0b1 and 70.0a1 calendars.
But since Sunbird is dead I think we should pick a Lightning version.

Wow! Lost track of this one.
Created an event in my Google CalDAV calendar.
Saved and closed it, the calendar tab flickered.
Edited the event and added a category.
The calendar tab flickered when saving and closing.
Edited the event and saved it to my other Google CalDAV calendar.
The Today pane flickered.
Created another event in my Home calendar.
No flickering.
Seems to me the flickering is caused by network traffic between the calendar and web, writing and reading.
Tested with TB 91.4.0 on Fedora 35 Linux.
