As there is no calender facility in Mozilla Thunderbird, we are facing problems regarding calender. 
If Mozilla Thunderbird releases a new version with calender facility, then it would be nice.

Currently, a calendar is available as an extension to Thunderbird, see http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/lightning/ and it is envisioned to provide an installer option which would include a calender with TB 3.0.
