steps: Open Pref, Mail , Composing. The last pref for enabling address autocomplete is Off by default, which should be On by default as per spec. Even if I enable it, it is not stored. Builds and platform: Today's commercial _trunk_ builds on Windows and Linux. Branch Builds are OK. And on Mac, this pref doesn't fit the default size of Pref Window and pref window is not resizable. Hence cannot be tested on Mac. :(
FYI -- bug #46720 logged to be able to access autocomplete pref.

Note the original bug is fixed ("Enable Address autocomplete" pref dont stick), however, the comment that the default state is not showing correctly (checkbox is unchecked when the action is really enabled). Verifying this and opening a new bug for the default state not represented by checked box.
