Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; de; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; de; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20081217 Shredder/3.0b2pre

The common shortcut for deleting the word placed before the cursor, Alt+Backspace, does not work anymore. While other shortcuts (like Alt+arrow keys) still work, the Alt+Backspace one has no effect.

This worked in Thunderbird 2.0 and is broken in all 3.0 builds I have tried so far (3.0a3, 3.0b1, Shredder Nightly).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the compose window (e.g. New Mail)
2. Write some words in the message body
3. Press Alt+Backspace
Actual Results:
Nothing happens, the cursor stays after the current word, which is not deleted.

Expected Results:
Alt+Backspace should delete the word placed before the cursor.

This seems to be broken only in the message body window. For the Subject, Recipient and all other text fields the Alt+Backspace shortcut seems to work.

Well, it's not Alt... but Option.
