1. Take a look at "Local Folders": Selecting "Outbox" will cause the "Delete" toolbar button to deactivate. Now create a new folder "sub0" under "Local Folders": selecting it will activate the "Delete" toolbar button. 2. Open "Local Folders/Outbox" and "Local Folders/sub0" in different tabs. 3. Switch between these two tabs and see the "Delete" toolbar button not change state.

Working with the latest nightly I do not see described behavior. When the outbox tab is selected the "Delete" button is gray, when the sub0 folder tab is selected the delete button is enabled.
After bug 474701 we definitely update the toolbar like there is no tomorrow. Also, we may have fixed this prior to 474701, as per Munroe not seeing it.
