Details
Linux (2000-07-31-04 M17) Win32 (2000-07-31-05 M17) Mac (2000-07-31-04 M17) 1. Launch Messenger, open Task->Address Book 2. From Messenger, select a message from any folder and view the message (either POP or IMAP account) 3. Check the Address Book Actual result: Both the Sender and Receipient of the message do not get added in the Collected Address Book 4. Exit application and re-launch 5. Check the Address Book again Actual result: same as step 3 result Expected result: the sender and the recipient of the message should be added to the Collected Address Book This occurs on all 3 platforms.
I have not checked the Trunk builds yets.
Target Milestone: --- → M17
I tried a new profile on single account POP or IMAP, no problem. But then I added another account into the new profile, it starts to have problem. It behaves inconsistently, sometimes it does, sometimes it does not add to Address Book. Have a feeling it has to do with multiple profiles. Note: I checked the Preferences->Mail and Newsgroup -> Addressing are enabled on incoming as well as outing messages.
We'll need to trouble shoot some more. This is working for me and I have multiple accounts in my profile.
I think, when you _View/Read_ a msg only the Sender is added to the Collected AB. And when you send a msg, the recepients (the one in the 'To' list, not the 'cc' or 'bcc' list) are added to the Collected AB.
ok. I spoke too fast. I take back the second part of my last update. Here is the correct one. When you send a msg, the recepients (everything in 'To', 'cc' and 'bcc' list) are added to the Collected AB.

are you seeing this with the M18 build? I just tried and it seems to be working fine for me. I'm going to mark WFM. If you are still seeing this, plesae reopen.

Linux (2000-08-07-14 M18) and (2000-08-07-12 M17) Win32 (2000-08-06-21 M18) and (2000-08-07-12 M17) Mac (2000-08-6-20 M18) and (2000-08-07-12 M17) When I wrote this bug, I must have deleted the card in the Address Book in the same profile. A bug exists that once a card has been deleted, I cannot add it back to the Address Book in the same profile. See bug 47932. Using these builds, the bug does not exists if the address card is brand new.
