Probably this bug is related to bug 472817 and bug 472970, but this case is not all that bad:
Symbol uploads for SeaMonkey nightlies failed for today's nightlies with a "Permission denied" error.
In order to investigate, I tried to ssh from the Linux slave to dm-symbolpush01 with the seabld user, and this worked fine. Looking further, I discovered that the /mnt/netapp/breakpad/symbols_sea/ directory that contains the symbols and which we are uploading to is full of numeric owner/group IDs that seems not related to named users or groups and not seabld:users as I would have expected, and so this user probably has lost its permissions to upload its files there.

/mnt/netapp/breakpad/symbols_sea/ is owned by 2303:root and /home/seabld by 2303:users, so I guess 2303 was the seabld user ID but it got lost somehow.

Looks like someone already fixed the perms on both /home/seabld and /mnt/netapp/breakpad/symbols_sea/. After I fixed the previous bug, I changed the uid for the seabld user to match what was on the aus2-stage box. I should have checked this box as well, but it slipped my mind. My apologies for that.
Is there anything else that needs to be done here or can this bug be closed?

Thanks, yes, the permissions look OK for upload now, though a chgrp -R to users would probably be a good idea for /mnt/netapp/breakpad/symbols_sea/ to clear up the unrecognized group setting on the files.
I have forced new nightly build cycles on all three platforms.

The group wasn't messed up to begin with, so I didn't do a chgrp. However, I am doing a chown -R to seabld.
I am hoping you don't run into anymore problems uploading stuff. If you do, please re-open.

Thanks, the new nightly cycles could successfully upload symbols and went green again :)
