User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090108 Minefield/3.2a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090108 Minefield/3.2a1pre On the above page, the right pointing arrow (U+2192) and left pointing arrow (U+2190), which just after the text "minor edit" on the page, are rendered with what looks like glyphs from different fonts. AFAICT, it should be rendered with Helvetica on my system, which does have both glyphs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load the above URL. Actual Results: Notice that the two arrow glyphs come from different fonts. Expected Results: Glyphs from the same font (assuming that the sans-serif font is set to one that has both glyphs) should be used. Screenshot: http://mcc.id.au/temp/2009/arrow-glyph-screenshot.png
I bet this is the same as bug 471732.
Depends on: 471732
I've encountered the same problem here: http://davidchambersdesign.com/examples/prototype-image-slider/. Interestingly, if one views the "previous" link in Firebug, the left arrow does not appear at all!
Severity: normal → S3
