User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080313 SeaMonkey/1.1.9
Build Identifier: 2.0.0.19 (20090105)
Many RSS feeds have problems to show up content or the individual feed articles.
Here is one feed that seems to work correctly:
http://www.sr.se/Podradio/xml/p1_konflikt.xml
Here are a few where the textual information is not displayed, but articles do shop up and files may be downloaded:
http://www.sr.se/rssfeed/rssfeed.aspx?Poddfeed=3821
http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/worldservice/globalnews/rss.xml
And here are a few feeds that does have a really trouble to show up in any resonable way, problematic already in subscription step.
http://podkast.nrk.no/program/dagsnytt.rss
http://podkast.nrk.no/program/radiodokumentaren.rss
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Subscribe to the feeds.
2. Most will subscribe well, some not.
3. try to use the feeds.
Expected Results:
feeds should add up correctly and display all textual information.

I have similar problems with Thunderbird on OS X 10.3 (Tiger). None of my existing RSS-feeds are rendered properly in HTML and only parts of the textual content are rendered.
I have a similar problem I guess :
Thunderbird 3.1.7 on Ubuntu 10.10
I have two RSS feed which show up correctly in Thunderbird.
But I try to subscribe to this one : http://bugbrother.blog.lemonde.fr/feed/ without any success. It gets stuck on the "feed check" step when trying to suscribe, thus I have to cancel it.
The only thing I could say is this feed shows up correctly in firefox.
Any ideas?
Sorry for double posting, this is my first time reporting bug for more than a year.
I have similar problems too since TB 3.1. Some feeds such as the one below don't display right (see upper screenshot). It displays well under FF, Akregator or Liferea, though.

if you have set these 3 to view web page (rather than summary) you will see nothing as the publisher doesn't provide a link according to spec. if you check view summary, you will see content plus the attachments.
