I am a Eudora user who gets lots of emails with attachments. It is a pain to manually have to go to each email and do a "saveas" which is what I have to do if I was to use Thunderbird or Outlook. Eudora kindly does this process automatically and puts attachments in a user-defined folder. It also stops the file(s) contining the mail from becoming very large. could this feature be incororated into Thunderbird as a fixed or variable option?

Reproducible: Always
