STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Load the HTML5 spec (single-page version). There are some snapshots below.
2. Try to interact with the browser while it is loading.
ACTUAL RESULTS
Browser isn't very responsive.
Also, the page takes quite a while to load, especially the full version with CSS and JS.
EXPECTED RESULTS
The page should display, complete and fully interactive, as soon as I've decided that I want to see it.
Or, alternatively, if that's too audacious, then it should render quickly once it's started downloading.

I think this issue is due to multiple problem.
PC 1
a) with JavaScript disabled, I dont see any problem at all
b) with JavaScript enabled, First few seconds (say 10sec) browser
response is slow, but user can scroll. Then JS kicks in,
and browser hangs for a minute or two. After that user can
work with out any problem.
PC 2 and 3
a) with JavaScript disabled, scrolling is very slow
b) with JavaScript enabled, browser just hangs

It's still pretty slow for me. It depends on which machine you're using.
