Recently, Google changed its favicon from a simple blue-green uppercase "G" to a colorful lowercase "g"
Firefox still displays the old "G" icon
Following is a replacement to the existing google.xml which integrates the new Google icon
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox
2. Set the search engine to Google
3. The " G " icon is shown
4. Type something in the search bar and hit <Enter>
5. The Google results show the " g " icon
Actual Results:
Google result has a different icon than the Firefox search bar icon
Expected Results:
To be consistent, the icon used in Firefox' search bar should be the same as the one used by Google results
To "solve", make the following changes:
1. In the directory: Firefox\searchplugins
2. Modify the file google.xml with the new Google icon
