47647 - Typing in TEXTAREA in a table very slow on page with background image

Typing in a TEXTAREA form element that is in a cell of table on a page is very slow.

The attached example consists of an html page and a gif for the background
image. Load it in to Mozilla and try typing in the TEXTAREA.  It is slow.  You
will notice that the table has a fair (but not outrageous) number of cells.  The
more cells, the slower it gets.

What is very surprising is that if the the html is changed to remove the
background image from the BODY tag, typing in the TEXTAREA becomes much faster.

I forgot to mention that I am using Mozilla 080404 on NT4.

I think this is a known dup. The probvlem is all the incremental reflows coming 
through as the typing is being done.
