I suppose that caps num was set on you keyboard ?
yes it was I operate the same way than with thunderbird 2 with vs 2 all works, with vs 3 beta1 only numeric keypad works maybe the application use the scancode of the key pressed rather than the ascii code?
improve somewhat vague summary. BTW, the new terminology is tags. I believe this is a dupe of bug 448289, which is also a trunk regression if the bug keywords are correct.
