When I run Thunderbird 3B1 in Linux, I try config an account and I need insert ALL fields by hand (imap server, smtp server, etc). Best regards, Renato S. Yamane Brazil Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Decompress thunderbird (tar.bz2) 2. Open it 3. Select "Mail account" to creat it, and try config a @mandic.com.br account. Actual Results: Autoconfig don't load mail server information, that is already available in MailServerList Expected Results: Autoconfig need load all information about this mail server, that is available in http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=p49SW32nNYX0otkRc3UZUJA (from https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailServerList)
Autoconfig has not been put into any builds yet (beta or nightlies) as it is not ready. You probably want to watch bug 422814 but even then I'm not 100% sure we're using that list.

We don't generate configs from MailServerList yet. This is a server-side development and independent of checking in the code into Thunderbird. Compare http://ascher.ca/blog/2009/01/20/how-should-we-manage-autoconfiguration-files/
