User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011912 Firefox/3.0.6 FirePHP/0.2.1 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.19 (20081209) The most common prompt that I never expect is, "Are you sure you want to move the selected folder into the Trash?" and the answer is always no. What happens is, in the 3-pane view, I click on a folder that I want to read, there's already a message selected, and I want to delete it. But since focus is on the folder pane, delete means to delete the folder. I never remember to click on the summary pane first, because I rarely do that in any situation. Most of the time I use the keyboard to move around. When the folder pane is selected, most of the common keyboard shortcuts *don't* operate on the folder itself. n/p is still next/prev message, space still pages forward in the selected message, etc. delete is the oddball. Deleting folders happens rarely, I don't see much value in having a keyboard shortcut for that. Ideally, I'd like delete in the folder pane to delete the current message. Reproducible: Always
this is a lot better in 3.0 - this should probably be duped against the bug in 3.0 that was fixed...
