SeaMonkey 1.x has a Forms preference item (Privacy & Security) and a "Fill in Form" menu option (Edit menu) that were used to fill in form data. Alphas of SeaMoneky 2.0 no longer have these options as the feature set is made closer to FireFox. These options are very useful and should be re-introduced.

Not blocking. We can ship without it. "Fill in Form" will very probably be not ever come back, a new form manager for the new, very different form field autocomplete feature would potentially be nice to have but is nothing the core team has time for at the moment.
New contributors to work on it would be welcome!

* One immediate issue is for a form history editor to edit/delete incorrect entries. There is a Form History Manager extension for SeaMonkey 2.0 that can do this. But we need this as a native function of SeaMonkey for a better user experience. Perhaps we can use that extension as a starting point.

Bug 569341 should implement this as well in the process, and the in-progress add-on work for it already does.

I'll mark this as a dupe, as the Data Manager that is in SeaMonkey 2.1 Beta 1 and higher does the part of viewing and managing form data, and that's all we'll implement. Please file new bugs for any details we can improve with that - automatic form filling will not come back as a built-in feature though.
