Archiving from standalone window fails to select another message with "treeSelection is null"

Details

STR:

1. Send yourself a couple of throwaway messages
2. Double click the first one to open it in the standalone window
3. Click the Archive button (or the menu item, once bug 481249 enables it)

Once the standalone window closes, you'd expect to have the second message selected, but instead you have nothing selected, and if you look in the error console there's an "Error: treeSelection is null" pointing at http://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/annotate/706bf70dd445/mail/base/content/mailWindowOverlay.js#l1177
I'm too lazy to look at which of several candidates fixed this.
