Previous tab's URL gets copied into newly opened tab

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open xyz.com in one tab.
2) Now open a new tab using ctrl +t or File -> New Tab.
Actual Results:  
- The XYZ.com URL present in tab1 appears in newly created tab as well

Expected Results:  
- The newly created tab should have a blank URL.

I experienced this in ff 3.0.8 running under windows 2008 x64.
Please let me know if it is better to log a separate bug for this.

Reproducible: always

Note: in my vista 32-bit, running ff 3.0.8 does not pose this issue. The same thing when I run in XP 32-bit with ff 3.0.8.

Sounds similar as bug 460031.

Since there have been no reply from the reporter for a long time this bug should be closed now. Feel free to reopen if it is sill a problem for you.

So, closing this issue would not be a good idea.

Can someone please mark this bug as resolved fixed so that i can mark it as verified since the big is resolved in the latest version of FF.
