User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011912 Firefox/3.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011912 Firefox/3.0.6 On a max, when tabbing between browsers, the select box is skipped over by default. This behavior can be changed in the system preferences, but this is not the default behavior for safari or opera on the mac, so it is not consistent with other browsers and is, in general, a terrible experience for me as a user and as a developer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a page like http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en with text boxes and select elements. 2. Push tab until a select box is next in the page flow to be selected, press tab and see that the select boxes are jumped over. 3. Cry. This is not the default behavior of safari or opera on the mac. Actual Results: The tab skips the select box. Expected Results: the focus should be on the text box.
This is the same as bug 349357 -> bug 437296, as far as I can see.
