Many Mac apps have some useful menu options in the right click menu of text windows:
"Search in Google",
"Search in "Spotlight",
"Look Up in Dictionary"
Feature request: To have the same items included in Thunderbird's menu when you right click a selected text.
Reproducible: Always

Component: General → Message Reader UI
OS: Mac OS X → All
QA Contact: general → message-reader
"Look Up in Dictionary" can now be easily implemented, at least for OS X, since Bug 308471 is fixed. It already works on trunk if you mark a word and press Cmd-Ctrl-D. For other OS'es I don't know.
