User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/530.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/2.0.169.1 Safari/530.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090317 I've tried the latest Fennec build in all 3 platforms available to me: Linux, MacOSX, Windows XP. In all three, if I use GMail and compose an email, entering any word with a possessive in it causes my mail to be send before I can complete it. For example, I want to write "Fennec's great!", but as soon as I complete typing "Fennec's", the mail message is sent. Upon closer inspection, I see that as soon as I enter an apostrophe, the mail entry text box loses focus, and then the s is interpreted as a Send command. Upon further testing, it's not the " 's " that triggers the behaviour. It's the apostrophe, followed by any letter, followed by a space key. My mail message is sent as soon as I enter "Fennec'd ", for instance. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.gmail.com and log in. 2. Start a new email message 3. Start typing "Fennec's great!". 4. As soon as you type the space following " 's ", your mail will be sent Actual Results: My mail is sent before I finish composing it. Expected Results: My message should not be sent until I click on the Send button in GMail. I was using the default theme and only one add-in: No-Script. Fennec's great (no, really!), and I like the way you've kept the controls off the screen in order to preserve precious small-screen real estate.
