How about allowing for changing the keyboard shortcuts.

Actual Results:  
The keyboard shortcuts are fixed.

Expected Results:  
The keyboard shortcuts could be changable as in winword etc...
This would, e.g. help to avoid closing Thunderbird upon hitting ctrl-q, which happens often, if ctrl-1 has been intended.
