Scottish Gaelic localization seems to have sputtered to a halt.  As a Gaelic speaker, I came here looking to join the team -- my motivation is that I want to use Firefox in Gaelic !!

How do I work with Mozilla to make this happen ?

I did not see a gd component so I just picked one that I assumed was close.

Fàilte ort!   I am reassigning to "Registration & Management" component, since Scottish Gaelic is not the same as Irish.

All the same, there are several of us on the Irish l10n team who can make our way conversationally in Scottish Gaelic (including one fluent speaker, Caoimhín Ó Donnaíle from Sabhal Mòr Ostaig) and we'd be happy to help you along with your translation effort any way we can.

And for whomever is in charge of Registration and taking over this bug, please note that I found two earlier bugs related to gd l10n: Bug 471773 (filed a couple of months ago, still open), and Bug 284295, filed in 2005 and resolved incomplete by Gerv in 2007.

Bran, mind following up in bug 471773 and join forces there? I'm marking this bug as a DUPE, which is just the closest way to denote how these two offers relate.
