When I forward an email with attachments in non-ODF formats, like .doc, I would like that Firefox performs an automatic conversion of the attachments to open formats like ODF, so that the receiver can open it with non microsoft tools.

I would also like to have the possibility of activate and desactivate this automatic conversion, and the possibility of leaving both attachments (original and converted) in the forwarded email.

Juan, that's certainly something useful, but it's definitely not going to happen in TB core. We're not a document converter, and the low cost-benefit ratio of this isn't worth allocating scarce developer resources to it, nor adding significant complexity to the UI.

This needs to be realized as an addon.
