I was unable to go to any website by typing in the URL and pressing the enter key.  I was able to go to any website by typing in the URL and pressing the arrow key on the right hand side of the address bar.

Before reporting a bug or asking elsewhere for help you should always try the Firefox safemode first : http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

In this it should help because this is caused by the AVG addon, please disable it in tolls/addons and please reopen if you don't have the avg Addon nstalled
